Tour De Fleece

This year, for the first time, I've decided to join my fellow spinners in the Tour De Fleece.  I'm in the Spindle Group, as well as the Monkey Farts Group.  Hence, the change in my ravatar.  I don't know how to add the verbage to the pic, so my grinning simian face will have to do.

I have FINALLY found a carder (a used Pat Greene) for a reasonable price, and will be blending my amazing alpaca with some wool I ordered from ebay to spin.  Hopefully, I'll have enough yardage (dk weight) to make something really soft and yummy.

Hi, I've desided to start a personal blog.  My life, my discoveries, the things I've learned.  I'm doing this mostly so I can share some of the charts and summaries I've created as I've researched.

This is the first chart.  I'm still really at the very beginning of learning about fibers, how to use them, preparation, characteristics, etc.  So I've been building this chart as a means of organizing what I've discovered.  Please understand that this is information I've gathered from multiple sources, and may differ from what you've found.  You'll also discover there are lots of blank spots.  If you have information to add, please let me know.
